Justin Jerome (2020—2022)

Justin studied the role of magnetic fields in developing stars in star-forming clouds using numerical techniques and computational modeling.

Justin previously worked on developing new computational labs for introductory astronomy courses utilizing WorldWide Telescope.

  • Astronomical Society of the Pacific, Poster, Fall 2020.

Angelo Karam (Summer 2020)

Angelo studied the frequency of binary misidentification in star formation simulations during the SMC Summer Research Program.

Anthony Vazquez (Summer 2020)

Anthony characterized the natal gas clouds that eventually form stars using post-processed radiative transfer calculations during the SMC Summer Research Program.

  • Final presentation runner-up award.

Thomas Weldele (2021)

Thomas has developed new computational labs for introductory astronomy courses using WorldWide Telescope as well as developing assessment tools for measuring learning in Astro101 courses.

Ben Harte (2021)

Ben has studied the evolution of spin-orbit alignment in star-forming regions through analysis of simulations of star-forming clouds.
